News - Moon Lands On Death Valley

Chris MoonDouble amputee Chris Moon is today preparing to take on one of the world's most challenging races, the Badwater Ultramarathon. In an event that will feature endurance runner Dean Karnazes, participants will embark on a 135-mile journey through Death Valley to Mt. Whitney in temperatures of up to 55C. Moon, 50, who was born in Wiltshire but has relocated to Scotland, lost his right arm and leg in 1995 whilst clearing landmines in Mozambique.
