News - Kids Aiming To Beat Marathon World Record

World Marathon ChallengeThe thought of a group of school children challenging Patrick Makau's world record marathon time of 2:03:38 seems laughable, but that's just what youngsters at the 2012 World Marathon Challenge on 16 October are hoping to achieve. Although unlike Berlin marathon winner Makau, they'll be running the 26.2 miles in relay teams.

News - BoJo Backs RideLondon 100

RideLondonRideLondon100 is being billed as the cycling equivalent of London marathon, and with 25,000 people already having registered for next year's inaugural event, it's set to rival its running cousin in size. The RideLondon 100 bike ride has clocked up the figure in just five weeks since applications were opened at last month's launch by Mayor of London, Boris Johnson.
