Saturday sees the return of every beer drinkers' favourite event - The Great British Beerathon. The five mile 'slobstacle' course requires participants to neck a great British pint and chomp some great British fodder at each mile. Organisers advise that 'running is optional' and that you 'enter at your own risk'.

A slightly less frivolous race, the Regent's Park 10K series continues in London on Sunday. It is a mixed ability event so all runners are welcome and with the course being mainly flat with only slight undulations, there is a good chance of fast time.

Don't forget that you can also add your race's details to our event listings by signing up. Good luck to everyone racing over the coming week!
