Hard as Snails runnersLast weekend's race results are now available online at southernrunningguide.com. Check out the results and upcoming events on our race listing page.

After a relatively quiet few weekends, things are really picking up with a great number of races on offer. Saturday sees participants tough it out at the Hard as Snails 10K and 5K. The event is a cross-country run on a single 10k loop with a cut back for those completing 5k. The course takes in the Pilgrims' Way over the North Downs in central Surrey, with participants encountering rolling hills, lofty summits and low off-road tracks weaving through the woodland.

The English Half Marathon returns for a fifth year in Warrington on Sunday. There are some changes to the route with the start moved to a new entrance at Victoria Park and the finish in the line of trees close to the previous start line. Other notable events include Weald St George's 10K, Night Owl 10K, Bachus Marathon and Half Marathon, and Maidenhead Half Marathon.

Don't forget that you can also add your race's details to our event listings by signing up. Good luck to everyone racing over the coming week!
