News - Running Mild In Malta

Malta MarathonTaking part in a race in February may not seem like a very appealing idea to most Brits, but when the event is situated 50 miles south of Sicily it becomes a rather more attractive prospect. The mild temperatures and vast downhill sections make Malta Marathon on 23 February 2014 an ideal race to help you shake off the winter blues.

Runtalk - Club Together

SerpentineI am on the verge of joining a new club for the third time in eight years. I suppose that makes me a bit like a Premier League footballer. But, that's where the comparison ends.

New Poll - Running Apps, Your Views

Man adjusting his phone before a runAfter an amazing response to our poll last month, we want to find out this month whether you use an app when you run, or not?

Lionel Ritchie's 'easy like Sunday morning' refrain springs to mind when highlighting The Easy Runner Sodbury Slog, which takes place this Sunday at 11am. Don't be fooled though, as participants are warned that the event is 'not for the faint hearted' and the course described as 'trainer-ruining'. The multi-terrain challenge is held over and through some of South Gloucestershire's most stunning countryside and will see around 1,300 runners tackle paths, fields, ditches and mudbaths.

Another event which involves mudbaths on Sunday is the Mud & Mayhem Autumn 10K. Set in the grounds of Delapre Abbey, the flat course features views across Delapre Lake and takes runners through the historical gardens of the 14th century abbey.

Don't forget that you can also add your race's details to our event listings by signing up. Good luck to everyone racing over the coming week!
