News - Relay Got Me

GB Relay

Over 2000 runners will attempt to set a Guinness world record this June by  taking part in the Great British Relay. The event will see participants running 7000 kilometres around mainland Britain, carrying a specially designed GPS baton recording the journey as they go, passing from hand to hand over 594 stages.

News - Record Finishers At Bupa Race

Top three men at Bupa 10000Over 12,000 runners enjoyed bright sunshine as they took part in the Bupa London 10,000 on Sunday. Winding through the city centre streets of the capital, it was the biggest entry ever for the seventh edition of the annual event covering the Mall, City and St James’s Park.

News - Tokyo Time

Tokyo MarathonEntries are now open for the Tokyo Marathon on 22 February 2015. The race is the sixth and most recent World Marathon Major, and 35,000 competitors are expected to take part in the event next year.

So far, 60% say they feel invigorated running first thing, 21% say you'd have to wrestle them out of bed in the morning, while 15% go for a morning run occasionally.

Race Listings

Kent Road RunnerLast weekend's race results are now available online at southernrunningguide.com. Check out the results and upcoming events on our race listing page.

On Saturday the third Kent Roadrunner Marathon will take place at the Cyclopark in north-west Kent. The looped nature of the course makes it an ideal location for spectators as well as an easy event for participants to judge their pacing to perfection. On Sunday, June’s race calendar kicks off with the Gosport Golden Mile and 5K. Runners can test themselves against the best on the pancake flat point to point 1 Mile event. The 5K race is a popular addition to the Hampshire running calendar and features a fast and flat, out and back dash along the promenade.
