News - Running For Bella and Sebastian

Rob Marsh and childrenA dad from Oxfordshire has signed up for the British Heart Foundation’s Blenheim Palace 10K Run after his two young children were both diagnosed with congenital heart disease. 37-year-old Rob Marsh of Witney was inspired to raise funds for the event on Sunday 5 October 2014 by his daughter Isabella and son Sebastian.

News - Mud, Sweat and Cheers

Claygate FiveIt was muddy underfoot, but 440 runners pushed ahead and took part in the Claygate Country Five on Sunday 13 July. The five-mile event in rural Surrey, on the footpaths around Claygate’s beautiful green countryside, was enjoyed by all.

Race Listings

British 10K runnersLast weekend's race results are now available online at southernrunningguide.com. Check out the results and upcoming events on our race listing page.

Stansted Park 'Slog' Half Marathon will also include a relay marathon for the first time on Sunday. The half marathon route includes some minor changes and is an undulating course, virtually all off road. For a less challenging event, there are two Big Fun Runs in Brighton and Maidstone. The 5k un-timed runs are strictly for fun with the emphasis on relaxed exercise.
