Race Listings

Cheddar Gorge Challenge RunnersLast weekend's race results are now available online at southernrunningguide.com. Check out the results and upcoming events on our race listing page.

Sunday's Round the Island Race off the coast of Essex dates back almost a hundred years, originally held just after WWI. The multi-terrain course is approximately 12.2 miles long and follows the sea wall and beach, with short stretches on-road. A newer but no less challenging event takes place in Somerset on Sunday - the Cheddar Gorge Challenge. Described as one of the toughest events in the southwest, it includes a 10k, 5k and 200m, and is ‘steep in places, and ridiculously steep everywhere else’.

Don't forget that you can also add your race's details to our event listings by signing up. Good luck to everyone racing over the coming week!
