News - Kipsang To Make New York Debut

Wilson KipsangMarathon world-record holder, Wilson Kipsang, will make his New York City Marathon debut on 2 November. The Kenyan athlete set the fastest-ever mark of 2 hours 3 minutes 23 seconds at Berlin Marathon last year.

News - Riverside Run Still On

Riverside Run This weekend's Shorne Woods 10k may have been cancelled due to unforseen circumstances, but organisers are keen to stress that the Guildford Riverside Run on 12 October is still very much on.

Trail Running ManTrail Running is growing in popularity, and we want to know when you hit the trails - Are you an autumn ace or a summer swift? Or do you follow the breadcrumbs all year round?

58% of people say they're a 12-month a year trail runners, whilst 24% prefer autumn, with summer the third most popular season with 8%.

Gorilla RunLast weekend's race results are now available online at southernrunningguide.com. Check out the results and upcoming events on our race listing page.

Hundreds of runners will don gorilla suits this weekend for the Great Gorilla Run in London. The 8k event is described as 'the most fun event for conservation anywhere in the world' and helps raise money to protect gorillas in the wilds of Africa. Continuing the wildlife theme (sort of), runners in Buckinghamshire are being asked to tame 'The Beast' at the 26.2-mile multi-lap Beauty and the Beast event.
