News - Wise Words In Brighton

Brighton Marathon LogoOn Saturday January 14, a packed seminar room at the Hilton Brighton Metropole was treated to two fascinating talks by Italy's most successful marathon coach, Luciano Gigliotti, and Malcolm Brown, Olympic Performance Manager for British Triathlon. A total of 57 athletes and coaches attended the Brighton Marathon organised seminar, including Brian Scobie and Neville Taylor of England Athletics.

News - Stonehenge Spring Challenge

SarsenRunners seeking an unusual marathon to tackle this spring, would be well advised to take a look at the Sarsen Trail and Neolithic Marathon in Wiltshire on Sunday, May 6. It is a wide all-encompassing leisure event which includes distances and disciplines for runners, walkers and cyclists.

Runtalk - Horses For Courses

Chris BroadbentI was in South Devon visiting relatives and rather than go for my customary Sunday long run, I took the opportunity to take part in a local race instead. The oddly-named "Oh My Obelisk' event hosted by nearby club Dawlish Coasters was a low-key multi-terrain 11 mile.
