Entries are now open for the Dulwich Runners Annual Turkey Trot on Sunday, December 19. The pre-Christmas handicap event is an informal, fun occasion over a course of approximately 5k, consisting of three laps around Dulwich Park for club members only.
There are prizes for the first runner and the first walker across the finish line. There are also prizes for the entrant who gets closest to their predicted time and for the best fancy dress. Every entrant must give their most recent 10k or 5k finish time and their predicted time.
They will then be awarded a handicap by race organisers and will be set off at staggered times. Every entrant must compete without a watch. Entries are £2.50 or £2.00 for those in fancy dress, the race HQ is by Queen Mary's Gate and the race gets underway at 10am. For more information, see www.dulwichrunners.org.uk
