Big Fun Run Dates Confirmed

The dates for the 2011 Big Fun Runs have now been confirmed and on-line entries are being accepted. The events are a series of 13 runs being staged across the UK from August to October over a distance of 5k. There are two dates in the south of England at Milton Keynes (Willen Lake) on Sunday, August 28 and at Victoria Park, London on Sunday,October 2.

Organisers state that each venue has been carefully selected. They all take place exclusively within scenic parks that are both safe and pleasant running environments. The Big Fun Run are aimed at range of motivations from the serious runners to those simply looking for a gentle bit of healthy exercise.

Big Fun Runs support 61 separate charities and all runners are encouraged to run on behalf of a selected charity. Everyone who nominates a charity qualifies for a discounted entry fee. For more information on all venues and dates, go to the Big Fun Run website.
