One of London's longest running and best-loved clubs host one of their most popular annual events next week. Dulwich Runners are hosting their Mid Summer 5k Road Race on Wednesday, June 22 in the picturesque surroundings of Dulwich in South London. As well as the 5k race, there is also a one mile fun run option open.
The 5k race takes place mainly within Dulwich Park, starting near Queen Mary's Gate at 7.45pm. Entries on the night to the 5k are £10 and £2 for the one mile event. There are medals available to all finishers. Prizes will be awarded to the first three senior men and women and the first male and female veterans in over 40 and over 50 categories. There are also male and female team prizes, with three to score, although club vests must be worn. For more information, see www.dulwichrunners.org.uk
