No Torch No Racing
27 OCT2011

Entries are full for the Halloween Night Run at Reading which takes place on Monday, October 31. A full quota of 550 fearlessly signed up for the evening 5k which begins at 8pm at Wokingham Waterside Centre, Thames Valley. The course is multi-terrain over grass and towpath. Although well signed and well marshalled, the inevitable darkness means that head torches are compulsory for all runners. They will be available to purchase at the race HQ on the evening.
The course is described as predominantly flat and fast by organisers and results will be posted on the race website within 24 hours. Prizes will be awarded to the leading male and female, although every finisher will get a race memento. Hot drinks - including pumpkin soup - will be served at race HQ.
