Still Time To Be In Berlin

There is still time to secure a place at this year’s BMW Berlin Marathon. With an incredible atmosphere set in such an iconic and historical city, you can be right in the heart of the excitement as you join over 40,000 runners for the 44th edition of the race, which takes place on 24 September.

Known for its world marathon record time, the BMW Berlin Marathon has become popular with those seeking to set their own fastest marathon time.

Ethiopian Kenenisa Bekele took the winning spot for the men in 2016 with a time of 2:03:03 and the ladies winning spot was taken by Ethiopian Aberu Kebede with a time of 2:20:45.

41,283 runners from 122 countries entered the 43rd edition of the race, which belongs to the Abbott World Marathon Majors and is an IAAF Gold Label Road Race.

The route takes runners on a historic tour of Berlin, with a spectacular finish at the iconic 18th century Brandenburg Gate.
