News - National Trust Announces New Chilterns 10K Trail Race

Runners looking for an autumnal challenge with a difference should consider a new event to be staged in the Chilterns. The Bradenham Bolt is being organised by the National Trust at the beautiful Bradenham Estate on Sunday 22 September and is billed as 'a challenging but fun-packed 10k trail through the historic Chilterns landscape'.

News - Tokyo By Surprise

Tokyo MarathonInterest in the 2014 Tokyo marathon has risen dramatically this year with a particular increase in the number of British runners registering for the event. The marathon, awarded major status last year, will have over 35,000 participants in 2014 with around 10% of those being international runners.

Running with your dog is increasingly popular with many dog-owners. A fantastic way to not only exercise yourself and your canine companion, it can be a great bonding activity for both pet and owner.

So this month we'd like to find out if you are one of the many who runs with one of Man's best friends. Perhaps you've tried, and couldn't keep up? Maybe you're a regular dog runner? Or do you prefer to focus on your own run, rather than chasing tail and playing catch-up with your four-legged friend?

Race Listings

Now in its 3rd year, The Hurt continues on Saturday with the second race in the three-part series taking place in Surrey. As the series progresses, the courses get harder, saving the toughest till last. This weekend's race is 12km following a route through the pine forest and up and down valleys of the Hurtwood.

On Sunday there's the South Coast half marathon, 10K and 5K, taking place in Seaford (East Sussex). The half marathon features a lapped course, taking in scenic views from the seafront.
