News - Paula To Start Brighton Marathon

Paula Radcliffe

In a coup for Brighton Marathon, women’s marathon world record holder, Paula Radcliffe, has agreed to be the official starter for this year’s race. Now based in Monaco, the 2005 World champion will signal the start for the thousands who will be setting off from Preston Park at 9.15am Sunday 6 April, shortly after she has sent the inaugural BM10K on its way. Paula will also make a guest appearance at the Brighton Marathon Exhibition on Saturday evening.

News - Olympic Run Entries Open

London Anniversary RunEntries have opened for the National Lottery Newham London Anniversary Run, a major running event staged in the heart of the new Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. There are 10,000 places available for the event in London’s newest park which played host to a memorable Olympic and Paralympic Games two summers ago.

Bournemouth Bay HalfLast weekend's race results are now available online at Check out the results and upcoming events on our race listing page.

A great selection of half marathons on offer this weekend with events being held in Croydon, Paddock Wood, Weybridge and Bournemouth.

The Bournemouth Bay Run Half Marathon also includes a 10k, 5k, and 1k family run along the town's sea front. The course sees participants run alongside the English Channel coastline to raise vital funds for the fight against heart disease.
