News - Up And Running Shoe Amnesty

old pair of running shoesRunners with a social conscience can take advantage of Up and Running's shoe amnesty until 14 September at one of 24 store collection points across the UK. The progressive specialist running retailer has teamed up with European Recycling Company (ERC) to encourage and motivate people to understand that a well-worn shoe doesn’t mean that it has come to the end of its use, and that shoes can live on and help many people throughout the world.

News - Towering Test

Spinnaker TowerPortsmouth’s Spinnaker Tower has launched the search for the fastest runner to conquer their 530 stairs. The race, to be held on Sunday 12 October, forms part of a World Federation of Great Tower series of stair runs. The series culminates in a grand finale at the Danube Tower in Vienna.

Race Listings

Spartan RacerLast weekend's race results are now available online at Check out the results and upcoming events on our race listing page.

The Spartan Race series comes to London this weekend with the Spartan Spring and Spartan Super events. The courses integrate obstacles with natural terrain to create a unique racing experience. Talking of unique experiences, the inaugural Spitfire Scramble arrives in London on Saturday. Participants can enter the 24-hour off road relay as soloists or in a team, starting at noon on Saturday and finishing at noon on Sunday.
