A 37-year-old woman is hoping to set a world record by running London Marathon in a pair of 5 inch high heels. Natalie Eckert from Stoke-on-Trent says she's never run a marathon before but is confident of a sub 4-hour finish.

News - Four Minute Mile Chance

4 minute mileFollowing the success of their 4 Minute Mile event in July, aat events are staging a re-run of this fun challenge this weekend (Saturday, 8 November). Runners are being invited to the athletics track at the Guildford Spectrum in Surrey to take on the iconic challenge.

4 minute mileLast weekend's race results are now available online at Check out the results and upcoming events on our race listing page.

With Remembrance Sunday this weekend, several races are being held to mark the occasion. The seventh Poppy Half Marathon will take place on Saturday, including a 5k and a 1/4 marathon fun run for the first time. The Grange Farm & Dunmow Runners will hold their Stebbing Remembrance Day 10 in Essex on Sunday. In Surrey participants will be hoping to emulate Roger Bannister by running their fastest mile at the 4 Minute Mile event.
