News - Button In Pole Position For London Marathon

Jenson Button

Former Formula 1 world champion Jenson Button has confirmed he will swap the Grand Prix circuit for the racing track and compete at this year’s Virgin London Marathon. Button is no stranger to distance running and boasts a 2:58:34 PB, set at the Honolulu Marathon in 2012.

News - 52 Half Marathon Streak Ends In Style At Plymouth

One man's commitment to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) will see him complete 52 marathons in 52 weeks at Plymouth's Half on Sunday, 19 April.  Steve Gill started his year long challenge at the Shakespeare Half Marathon in Stratford Upon Avon in April 2014.

Video Of The Week - 95 Year Old Sets World Record

95 Year Old World RecordOur video of the week is of 95-year-old Charles Eugster setting a new 200m indoor world record for his age group. He knocked 2.4 seconds off the previous record to finish in an impressive 55:48, proving that age is no barrier to running!

Race Listings

North London Half Excitement is building for the first ever Vitality North London Half Marathon, taking place on Sunday. The unique course boasts a stadium to stadium experience, starting at Allianz Park and taking runners through Wembley Stadium. A more established event, the South leg of the Major Series comes to Tunbridge Wells this weekend. Organisers promise participants they'll be laughing their way round the course with their running comrades!
