News - Chain Reaction At Royal Parks Half

Royal Parks Half

The ‘world record’ for running a half marathon wearing full upper body chain mail was broken by David Cooke, from Dartford, at the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon on Sunday (9 October). David was one of 16,000 to finish as he rattled round the 13.1 mile course in his 20kg outfit in an impressive 2:43:49 to raise over £1,000 for the London Air Ambulance.

EMF The Edinburgh Marathon Festival is now in its 15th year and takes place on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 May 2017. This ever-growing festival of running is now a major event in the Scottish sporting calendar.
