Premier League giant Arsenal will host its annual charity fun run Be a Gunner Be a Runner at Emirates Stadium on Saturday 11 April. Hundreds of runners are set to complete the 10 lap (6.4km) run of the stadium, helping to raise funds for the Arsenal Foundation.
Away from the run there will be football games, music, face painting and a football freestyler in action. Club mascot Gunnersaurus and members of the Arsenal Ladies team will be in attendance too.
As well as the Emirates Stadium event, Arsenal’s international supporters will be taking part in their own versions of the run around the world. Runners from across Europe, Asia, Africa and the United States have already registered to take part this year, with 8,000 runners expected to participate in China alone.
All proceeds from Be a Gunner. Be a Runner 2015 will go towards The Arsenal Foundation, supporting projects that transform the lives of young people in the UK and overseas. For full details and to register visit Arsenal website.
