Entries have opened for the Eastbourne Beachy Head Marathon, one of the UK’s toughest off-road events. Formerly the Seven Sisters Marathon, the event is one of most difficult races over 26.2miles. But with glorious scenery and the monumental challenge as the attraction, the East Sussex event over the undulating South Downs is always a sell-out.
This year’s race takes place on 24 October and also includes a 10k option for runners, joggers or walkers. The event starts and finishes from Bedes School in Eastbourne. To find out more and to enter, visit the race website
