Take up a challenge for Blind Veterans UK

The Surrey Hills Challenge boasts a total of six different runs, all taking place in the beautiful countryside that makes up the Surrey Hills. One of the biggest sporting challenges in Surrey, the wealth of choice for runners as well as its amazing setting is a major draw.

You can take part in one of the events on 22 September, from the family-friendly 1km to the 60km Ultra challenge (5k, 10k, half marathon and marathon distances too), by joining Team Blind Veterans UK. We’re asking participants to raise £200 in sponsorship which will go towards delivering vital support to veterans in the local community.

Blind Veterans UK helps vision-impaired ex-Service men and women of every generation rebuild their lives after sight loss. Since 1915, we’ve provided rehabilitation, training, practical advice and emotional support to tens of thousands of blind veterans.

Our friendly regional fundraising team will be on hand to welcome you to the Blind Veterans UK team and help you with advise and resources on how to make the most of your challenge.
