Sunday 4 November 2018
Cambridgeshire runners are eagerly anticipating 2018’s Bonfire Burn 10K in early November for what will be the 8th running of the event which it is now firmly established as a late Autumn favourite for runners across the county.
Despite over 1000 runners participating in 2017, the event still retains a real village community event atmosphere and the marshals are well known for their great support.
The multi terrain course passes along the Northern Country Fringe of Cambridge. It’s a flat course that will provide a great opportunity to achieve a personal best.
The 10K is organised by village charity the Friends of Histon & Impington Recreation who have a great reputation for organising quality community sporting events including that other local favourite, the Flaming June Half & Quarter marathon.
Minumum age for the event is 14 on day of running and age categories include over 60 for both runs with all runners receiving a quality medal memento of the event.
Entry for adults is only £15 with a £6 offer for under 18s.
