After opening for registration two months ago, organisers for the Vitality Brighton Half Marathon 2016 have announced that places for next year’s race are selling in record time.
With a record number of entries in 2015, and places for 2016 going even faster, race organisers are urging runners to sign up for next February’s event before it sells out.
Race director Martin Harrigan commented: “A flat course, iconic landmarks and amazing atmosphere all add up to VBHM being firmly established as one of the most popular half marathons in the country.
“The challenge for the event team is ensuring that we can keep up with the demand for places - the 2016 race is already looking like it will be sold out in record time. All I can say is don’t leave it too late to enter!”
The 2016 race will take place on Sunday 28 February, starting and finishing on Madeira Drive on Brighton’s iconic seafront.
The general public entry fee is £34 for affiliated runners and £36 for non-affiliated runners, including a goody bag and a medal at the finish.
