Brighton Half Marathon organisers have announced that next year’s race is sold out just 10 weeks since entries opened. The record-breaking level of interest in next year’s race, no part of the Vitality Run series, comes as the event celebrates its 25th annniversary. Taking place on Sunday 22 February, the 2015 event increased available places to 12,500, up 2,000 on this year’s capacity.
Event manager Paul Bond commented: “We are thrilled that the event continues to grow in popularity. To those runners that have registered; a huge thanks. We cannot wait to welcome you all in February and we wish everyone the very best of luck with their preparations.”
Runners who have missed out on a public place can still enter by registering to run and raise money for one of the official charities. Further details about running for one of the official charities can be found on the charity page on the event website www.brightonhalfmarathon.com
