Entries for the 2016 Brighton Marathon open on Tuesday 14 April at midday. It follows another highly successful staging of the event on the south coast on Sunday.
Nearly 10,000 completed the full marathon with a further 2000 taking part in the BM10k and hundreds of youngsters getting a memorable taste of the big day atmosphere as part of the mini mile races.
It was a Kenyan double at the front as Duncan Maiyo won the men's race in 2:10:15, smashing his personal best. The women's race was won by marathon debutant Pannina Wanjiru who broke the tape in 2:34:24.
In the 10k races it was the home nation's turn to shine as British athletes Jonathan Taylor and Stephanie Twell won their events in fine style.
Taylor won in 29:13 and Twell in 32:49. Highlights from this year's race will be shown on Channel 4 on Saturday 18 April at 6.30am. Those wanting to enter next year's event, which will be the seventh edition of the race, can do so at this year's price of £52.50 at the event website.
