A picturesque corner of south west London will host a multiple distance running event next month beside the famous River Thames. The Garmin Kingston Run Challenge will feature races at eight, 16 and 24 miles over a flat, scenic route that will also take in Hampton Court. There is also a relay option for teams of three to tackle 24 miles for the event which takes place on Sunday 13 October.
Ros Morgan, chief executive of Kingstonfirst, comments: "We are confident that the Challenge will attract considerable interest from runners around the UK as it offers the chance to race a flat and very picturesque route.
"As well as being a great race in its own right, it is also the perfect event for those training for a marathon, a half marathon, a long-distance triathlon, an Ironman or even an ultra-marathon."
All the races will start and finish in Kingston's historic Market Place. The deadline for entries is Monday 8 October at 9pm or earlier if full, visit the official website.
