Looking for an alternative to chocolate-based advent calendars this Christmas? Three London fitness bloggers (diaryofadashingfashionista.com, ptmollie.com and fromsnickerstomarathon.com) may have the answer - the Zero Calorie Advent Calendar.
The calendar will provide you each day with a free workout routine, a healthy recipe and a health-related business deal (giveaways, discounts on products, free London-based fitness classes). Readers have to visit the zero calorie website everyday from 1-24 December after 9am GMT. Now in its second year, the team behind it are supporting charity A Mile In Her Shoes.
They explained the concept behind the calendar: "We hope that people see the Zero Calorie Advent Calendar as a motivational tool to stay fit, happy, and healthy at a time of year when over-indulgence becomes the norm. The enthusiasm and social media response to both the calendar and charity have been fantastic. Our aim is to offer you tips and suggestions to balance life this holiday season. Use the calendar as a resource when you are pressed for time, as well as getting yourself a little something at an amazing discount. We can't tell you all the brands involved yet, so you will need to keep checking back each day in December as we open another door in the countdown to 25 December."
