Entries are still open for this month's Canterbury half marathon which takes place on Bank Holiday Monday - 26 August. The race returned to the running calendarlast year after an absencein 2011 with 600 entrants and is now looking to re-establish itself as one of the south east's leading summer half marathons.
The course is a challenging one which takes in country roads on the outskirts of the famous Kent cathedral city, starting and finishing at Merton Farm. It is chip-timed with a medal for all finishers. The 2013 race is sponsored by Burgess Hodgson and will be raising funds for the Pilgrim's Hospice. The race will begin at 10am on Monday 26 August.
