Entries are still open for this Sunday's (28 July) Harlow 10 in Essex.
Over the less common distance of 10 miles rather than the popular 10 kilometres, the event offers a challenging yet picturesque course through country lanes, finishing at the Mark Hall Sports Centre Athletics Track.
This will be the 24th year for the Harlow 10, a non-profit race in which all the proceeds go to charity.
This year's charities to benefit are the nearby Accuro and St. Claire's Hospice. Entries are £16.50 for unaffiliated and £14.50 for affiliated runners. To find out more visit Harlow Running Club website.
