The 2016/17 Human Race Off-Road Series is all set to provide a chance to get down and dirty in the mud of the South East’s finest military training facilities. Three race venues are available and each will ensure that participants are tested to the limit in this top trail running and duathlon series.
Entries are now open for tough mud runners and cyclists for the Mud, Sweat and Gears Off-Road Series comprising Wildman (Ash Vale, 19 November), Iceman (Frimley, 3 December) and Mudman (Camberley, 11 March, 2017). Each event takes place on terrain that is bound to test even the most dedicated of athletes. Locations are hand picked to bring out the best in competitors, whether on foot, wheels or both.
Although the courses are designed to be challenging, with plenty of boggy trails and muddy hills, there are shorter versions of the gruelling trail run available so whether you are a nervous first-timer or seasoned campaigner there will be an event that’s right for you.
Those brave enough to sign up to complete the entire Off-Road series can take advantage of a reduced-price package deal and will have the opportunity to fight it out for top spot on the Off-Road leaderboard. The series champions in both trail run and duathlon categories will receive great prizes alongside the associated glory and sense of satisfaction.
Each participant will receive an exclusive event T-shirt to proudly wear on the day… and immediately get caked in mud! So whether you’re training for a spring marathon or the triathlon season, or maybe you’re simply someone that wants to try something different, the Human Race Off-Road Series has more challenge than you can shake a muddy stick at!
