Runners in Surrey hoping to get their autumn programme off to a flying start should look no further than the Hurtleberry Trail Run on Sunday, 13 September. The 10k will be run in the Hurtwood, a unique and beautiful woodland in the heart of the Surrey Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is being staged in tandem with a Run/Bike/Run duathlon.
Organisers are expecting a bumper turnout for the race which follows marked woodland paths and is suitable for canicross runners. The event village will be located near Holmbury St Mary, easily accessible from Dorking, Crawley and Guildford, with a race start time of 9.00am (registration on the day from 7.30am). Event features include off road parking on-site, medical cover, refreshments and chip timing.
