Last Chance To Run Reigate

Reigate Half Marathon start 2016

With just a few days left there is still time to enter the award-winning Intersport Run Reigate Half Marathon and 10K on Sunday (17 September) to enjoy the beautiful closed-road route through rural Surrey. The deadline for online entries is this Thursday (14 September). Entries for the Intersport Run Reigate Half Marathon and 10K will also be available on the day.

The quality of organisation was awarded gold for UK’s Best Half Marathon (less than 5,000 runners) at The Running Awards 2017. The fourth iteration of Intersport Run Reigate Half Marathon and 10K from Priory Park will once again feature double Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes as official starter and promises to be a day of superb sporting action for runners of all ages.
Features include the first-class race village; outstanding spectator support; collectable Brooks technical T-shirt; heavyweight bespoke medal, water and banana. The event will also host the 2017 Emergency Services Challenge: Police vs Fire vs Ambulance, with teams battling to see which is the fittest. Dame Kelly Holmes will present a trophy to the fastest Emergency Services team in both half marathon and 10k and support for the local heroes is bound to be huge.
A team of Xempo race pacers will be pacing the half marathon to help runners achieve their target times. They will be easily identified by their time flags covering the following targets: sub-1:30, 1:40, 1:50, 2:00, 2:10 and 2:30.
The Event Village and Jellyfish Food Village will be open from 8.00am and Move Revolution Kids Active Village will be providing a free selection of activities for kids to try from 10am. The 10k starts at 9.00am and the half goes at 9.15am, both setting off in front of Priory School.
Run Reigate Half Marathon and 10K has always been an excellent platform for charity fundraising and many participants will be running to raise money for the event’s Star Charity Partner: The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity in partnership with George and the Giant Pledge.
