South West London will host a new 10 mile race this autumn. The Royal Borough of Kingston 10 will take place on Sunday 4 October. This new event starts and finishes at the Ancient Marketplace in Kingston upon Thames.
The course is a classic route on closed or traffic free roads and excellent towpath for much of the first five miles. It picks out the best of established local race routes and promises fast times and PB potential as well as great scenery and a true sense of history.
With Twickenham’s Cabbage Patch 10 cancelled this year, the Kingston 10 offers a great alternative October run. The race is being delivered by KBC Running, organisers of the Original Hampton Court Half Marathon and Harry Hawkes 10.
The race will take place on an officially measured course and offers accurate chip-timing. All runners will receive a bespoke RBK10 medal, and there will be prizes for overall and category winners. Further details and entry link at the event website.
