Organisers of the Lidl Kingston Breakfast Run on Sunday 3 April have issued a call to arms to spring marathoners. The Breakfast Run crew reckon their event is the ideal preparation race for runners in marathon training.
The Breakfast Run is already on the programmes of many London and Brighton marathon runners; it has become a popular event for those aiming to run a stress-free marathon with its renowned flat course, strategically chosen date and variety of distances available - 8, 16 and 20 miles.
To help those training to hit their goals, pacers will be available running at 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 minutes per mile. The run starts and finishes in Kingston’s Ancient Market Square and runs along the River Thames, past the world renowned Hampton Court Palace and over the picturesque Hampton Court Bridge. Runners will be greeted at the finish line with goody bags from race partner Lidl UK.
Breast Cancer Care is the official charity partner of the Lidl Kingston Breakfast Run, with all participants encouraged to raise money which will go towards providing vital support services for anyone affected by breast cancer. There is no minimum fundraising target and it’s easy to set up a Just Giving online donation page when registering for the event.
