The new kid on the block of the UK half marathon scene takes centre stage in the capital this weekend. The Vitality North London Half Marathon has all the ingredients of a big success.
There is a 7,000 field for the sell-out race which takes in both Wembley Stadium and Allianz Park – home of Premiership Rugby side Saracens – en route.
Runners will also have the honour of being sent on their way by one of Britain’s greatest athletes with double Olympic champion Mo Farah sounding the starter’s horn. In addition there are bands to entertain runners and spectators during the day.
The race village opens at 7.30am at Allianz Park and the race gets underway at 9:30am. For full race day information, see the event website.
