This weekend will see the hosting of one of the UK’s oldest and longest cross country races. The Orion 15 covers off road terrain in and around the Epping Forest area in north east London.
Entrants to the event on Saturday 28 March can expect 15 miles of mud, hills and toil. Entries are free for the event, though donations are welcome from runners to the host club Orion Harriers.
There are no medals and t-shirts for finishers, no chip-timing. But there will be a flute of champagne at the finish line waiting for everyone who completes the full trip. To find out more, visit the event website.
