Join runners on 8 October at the iconic Oxford Half Marathon on closed roads. The picturesque route takes you through some of the most beautiful places in the city of dreaming spires; including the iconic Clarendon Building, the charming village of Old Marston and past the stunning Radcliffe Camera in the city centre.
There will be local bands and DJs at every mile, as well as an amazing community atmosphere and crowds lining the course!
All participants receive free race photos, an Asics finishers top, medal, and tote bag.
There’s something for everyone on the day, including a walking route between dedicated Fan Hubs so your supporting crew can catch you at various points along your half marathon journey.
For those travelling from London, it’s easy to get out to Oxford via public transport - a good option to get you there with plenty of time before the start is available here.
The event sold out last year - to find out more and sign up while places are still available, visit virginsport.com/event/oxford-2017.
Anyone interested in volunteering at the event can find out more at the volunteer registration page. Organisers are also looking for pacers, anyone interested should contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
