Exeter's Barnfield Theatre will host An Evening With Jo Pavey next month to raise funds for local charity Exeter & East Devon Sports Disabled Association.
The European champion, third in the recent BBC Sports Personality of the Year, will be appearing at the venue on Thursday 15 January from 7.30pm. Tickets are £12 or £10 for all concessions. All profits go to the Exeter & East Devon Sports Disabled Association.
Pavey was born in Honiton, is a member of Exeter Harriers and still lives locally. She famously won the 10,000m gold medal at the 2014 European Championships in Zürich, 10 months after giving birth to her second child, to become the oldest female European champion in history at the age of 40 years and 325 days.
Pavey is a four-time Olympian, having represented Great Britain in every Olympic Games from 2000 to 2012. It is an opportunity to hear Jo's story. She will also answer any audience questions.
