Reading Half Entries Open

Reading Half Marathon

Entries for the 2014 Mizuno Reading Half Marathon are now open. One of the UK's biggest half marathons, an estimated 20,000 fellow runners are anticipated for next year's race on Sunday 2 March 2014.

One of the fastest half marathons around, the 13.1 mile course leads runners from Green Park, through the beautiful grounds of Reading University and to a momentous finish inside Reading Football Club's 25,000 seater Madejski Stadium.

"This really is one of the most prestigious races in the calendar so don't delay your entry," says Nick Pearson, Managing Director of event organiser Sweatshop. "The 2014 race will see bigger prize money and more pace makers to support our 20,000 runners around the course to achieve their personal bests!"

The Green Park Challenge remains the first race of the day, featuring a shorter 2.8km course for runners of varying ages and abilities. Around 1,500 runners are expected for the event opener, including beginners wanting to have fun, get fit and raise money for charity.
