Hundreds Defy Easter Rain

Over 400 runner postponed their Easter Egg consumption to take part in the Capital Runners Richmond Park 10K on Sunday.

The field toughed out wet conditions in one of London’s most picturesque open spaces. The two lap course was covered quickest by Chris Whitcombe in 35:13, just 32 seconds ahead of second placed Alex Money.

Tom Stephenson completed the top three clocking 36:13. Susannah Evans was the leading lady in 11th place in 38:38. There were 433 finishers in total, the midpoint runner was Meghan Rimol in 56:33.
