Entries are open for the inaugural Run Reigate Half Marathon, another new addition to the Surrey running scene. The event will take place on Sunday 21 September at 9am. Organisers promise a beautiful, scenic route that winds its way through iconic Surrey landscape, starting and finishing in Reigate's stunning Priory Park.
Sponsored by sports giant adidas, race entrants will be able to take advantage of a high quality runner experience, with bag drop, en-route toilets, free post-race massages from Chart Clinic, Gaiam yoga, 'Lose your Shoes' restore area, a technical t-shirt and medal for every runner and post-run refreshments.
There will also be a huge Fitness and Food festival offering runners and spectators the chance to take part in free activities from over 25 local sports clubs, including beach volleyball and mountain biking.
There will also be live entertainment and a healthy food village with barbeque by celebrity chef Toby Tobin and sampling from health food brands like Upbeat! protein drinks and Metcalfe's popcorn. Finally, for spectators, organisers promise great vantage points to cheer on friends and family during the event.
