Runners in London or visitors to the city have been invited to a 'pop-up' experience at the Centre Point building. The Mizuno Performance Centre, open between July 24 and August 12, will feature free biomechanical running analysis plus state-of-the-art activity zones based around sprinting, football and handball. The activity zones will test speed, agility, accuracy and power, with spot prizes for highest scores.
Elsewhere in the specially designed space, visitors can try out a variety of Mizuno sports products. Other features of the pop-up' experience will be visits from top athletes and bespoke commissioned sporting artwork by renowned Japanese brushstroke artist Hidekichi Shigemoto on display.
Mizuno's limited edition Seiei collection of footwear, which will be worn by Mizuno's top sporting athletes this summer, will also be showcased. This new range includes the Wave Ronin 4, Wave Rider 15, Wave Kudos and Wave Universe 4 running shoes.
"In an exciting summer for sport we are delighted to be opening the Mizuno Performance Centre at Centre Point Building in central London," said Akito Mizuno, Mizuno President. "We believe the iconic status of the building is a perfect reflection of the Mizuno brand.
