The Saucony Pop-Up store on Covent Garden has been a hive of activity since it opened two weeks. And the store at 68 Neal Street is anticipating another busy week in the run-up to London Marathon on Sunday, 13 April.
The Saucony Pop-Up store has already hosted the launch of the Saucony Kinvara 5 London limited edition last week, a full month before the in-line style goes on sale. An exhibition of shoes from the archives to demonstrate Saucony’s heritage and place in running history is also proving popular. Shoes on display include 1949 Hyde spikes.
Stocked with the latest Saucony range, all shoe customers will receive six months VIP membership to Saucony’s Run Lounge tailored coaching website and a High5 nutrition taster pack worth over £60.
This week's pop-up store programme includes Run Lounge Live clinics plus Q&A with Saucony’s running coach Nick Anderson tomorrow (Monday, 7 April) and Friday 11 April. Clinic at 6.30pm, run at 7.00.
Saucony Jonathan Quint said: “Running 26.2 miles can be daunting whether you’re a first timer or an experienced campaigner looking to set a personal best. The running clinics are designed to provide last minute marathon advice to remove any pre-race nerves and we’re keen to let the runners decide the agenda.”
Following the clinics Nick Anderson will lead a series of 5k training runs from the Neal Street store. Taking in some of the final few miles of the marathon course the runs will be ideal training prior to the big day. In addition one lucky runner picked at random on each date will receive a full Saucony training kit including a pair of Guide 7 running shoes, technical t-shirt, shorts, cap and a 30 minute 1-2-1 consultation with Nick Anderson.
The Saucony Pop-Up store is open 10am-7pm (Thursday till 8pm) and Sunday 12noon-6pm. Full details at the London Pop-ups website. The stores closes on Sunday, 13 April.
