The multi-award winning Mercer Surrey Half Marathon returns for a sixth year on 10 March 2019 at Woking Leisure Centre.

The chip-timed half marathon, 5k and kids races follow a single loop along closed, well-surfaced roads from central Woking into the countryside and back. The picturesque routes are made all the more enjoyable by performances from local bands, and are packed with communities of cheering spectators and aid stations.

The Mercer Surrey Half Marathon is both an attractive and achievable challenge for all levels of runner. The race boasts one of the fastest half marathon course records ever completed and grants runners immediate access to professionally-written beginner, intermediate, and advanced training plans as soon as they enter.

It is this commitment to runners, along with the 'unbeatable atmosphere' described by participants, which has earned the event its third Gold Award from UK Athletics, and the title of the UK’s Best Road Run.

Participants and their supporters have free access to the event village, which has a number of live performances taking place throughout the day; charity, retail and catering stalls, live video streaming of the race on a giant TV screen and more. Indoor massage, bag storage, toilet and changing facilities are all available inside the leisure centre.

Participants will receive a huge medal, bespoke headwrap and a number of finish line treats to celebrate their achievements.

To secure a place, enter before 1 January 2019.
