Entry has opened for the third edition of the Surrey Half Marathon. To mark the launch of the 2016 event, which takes place on Sunday 13 March, race organisers have arranged a free one hour training session with performance experts Synergy Running and Movement Centre.
The free event on 17 September will take place at 12.30pm at Woking Leisure Centre – the race HQ for the big race next spring.
Macmillan Cancer Support is the event’s lead charity partner, and Woking and Sam Beare Hospices the local charity partner so get involved and help raise funds for these two worthy causes.
The half marathon event is accompanied by a Kids’ Sport Challenge (children aged 6-16), and a Corporate Challenge for local businesses.
