Way To Defend Salisbury Record

Steve WaySteve Way will return to the Salisbury Trail 54321 on 9 August to defend his record of 3:23 in the 50K Ultra. The walk or trail run event celebrates its 20th anniversary this year and features a selection of distances suitable for all ages and abilities, from 5k to a marathon and 50k ultra.

41-year-old Way captured the public’s imagination at last year’s Commonwealth Games marathon, completing his journey from a heavy smoking takeaway-addict to a distance running hero.
Those joining the Bournemouth athlete at the event will run over footpaths, bridleways and quiet country roads in the Salisbury Wessex area. Participants will pass a variety of sites of historical and scientific interest and through country estates not usually open to the general public .
Race entries will not be accepted on the day so those thinking of taking part are encouraged to enter now to avoid disappointment. For more information and to enter, visit the Salisbury 54321 website
