A sun-baked field of over 600 runners conquered the Wimbledon Common Half Marathon on Sunday. Organisers RunThrough confirmed it was the largest ever staging of the event with 646 finishing the 13.1mile course.
The event was led home by Richard Evans in 1:20:33, followed by Phil Goss in 1:21:25 and Derek Green in 1:24:20. The leading lady was Sophie Marc, who was 41 overall in 1:34:17. The midpoint finisher was Antony Lea with a chip time of 1:59:39.
